Our home, protected under the conservations laws of the town, is an old fisherman’s house located in the middle of Old Travemünde Centre close to the St. Laurence Church. During 2008 to 2010 it was extensively reconstructed and renovated, following the old style in mostly every detail. Since then the house is let as a holiday home for up to 4 persons. There is one bedroom for two persons, one room with a sofa bed for two persons, one sitting room with a woodfired stove, a kitchen, two showers, TV, radio with CD and Internet connection with WLAN.
Adjacent to the back of the house is a well sized garden with an additional small garden house for 1-2 persons, also with WLAN. It can only be rented together with the main house. In the garden there is a sauna.
Travemünde has been a seaside resort since 1802 and is Germany’s largest ferry port on the Baltic Sea with connections to i.a. Sweden, Finland, Russia, Latvia and Estonia. Travemünde is only 15 miles away from the old Hanse Town Lübeck with its World Heritage site status.
Travemündes special attractions are the beautiful, wide beach along the promenade on the one side and the nature reserve on the other side of the river Trave. For more details please consult the Internet.
